Our journey began in the heart of Portland, Oregon, where me and Jon decided to combine our decades of experience in designing, enhancing, and upgrading interior spaces to create JonDorr, merging design with durability, artistry with function. In our studio nestled in the rolling farmland outside Portland, we meticulously craft each piece using the local materials and handcrafted techniques, ensuring they are not just functional but true pieces of art.

We ensure each piece is meticulously handcrafted in our studio using traditional carpentry techniques like tongue and groove, mortise and tenon joinery, and Japanese charring methods to ensure durability and artistry. We use only the finest materials, often repurposed or salvaged lumber, to create heirloom pieces that bring grace, style, and tradition to any space.
